A security officer may be faced in a dangerous situation when he or she least expects it. TB Davis Security has studied the facts surrounding the recent acts of violence perpetrated against Salinas-area security officers in the recent past. We have determined that if these officers had some formal defensive tactics training that they may still be with us today. TB Davis Security isn’t criticizing these fallen officers, quite the contrary. We believe that learning from past incidents and offering local officers the tools to not only survive a deadly encounter, but to defeat it.
TB Davis Security has partnered with the Salinas Valley Aikido Association to offer this defensive tactics training to Monterey county security officers. Defensive tactics class will be held over 8 Saturdays; learning first the basic fundamentals of Aikido, followed with a more advanced curriculum.
